About the DeWalt DCS565 18V Circular Saw

The DeWalt DCS565 is a compact, cordless circular saw used by carpenters, joiners and builders. The brushless motor gives fast, clean cuts through timber and sheet materials, and there is no lead to trail through a wet property.

In flood work it is used to cut out water-damaged floorboards, chipboard flooring and skirting, so wet areas can be opened up, dried and replaced. The LED light and dust blower keep the cut line clear, and the electronic brake stops the blade quickly when you release the trigger.

Best for

  • Cutting out water-damaged floorboards and chipboard
  • Removing wet skirting and timber
  • Cutting new timber and sheet materials for repairs
  • Working where there is no safe power supply

General safety – tools and cleaning equipment

  • Read the operating instructions supplied before use. If you have not used this type of equipment before, ask us to show you how it works when we deliver it.

  • Flood water can contain sewage and chemicals. Wear gloves, wash your hands after use, and do not eat or drink in the work area.
  • Where electrics may have been affected by flood water, do not use any sockets until they have been checked by a qualified electrician.
  • Keep children and pets away from the work area.
  • If the equipment makes an unusual noise, smells of burning or stops working, switch it off and call us on 07971 435221. Do not open the casing or attempt repairs.
