About the Corroventa T2 Turbine

When water gets under a floating floor or into an insulated wall, a room dehumidifier on its own cannot reach it. The Corroventa T2 turbine solves that. Connected to a hose system through small drilled holes, it either sucks water and damp air out of the construction (suction drying) or pushes warm, dry air from the Corroventa A2 into it (pressure drying).

Suction drying is always done first, to pull out free water without pushing it further into the structure. The airflow and pressure are fully adjustable, and the turbine automatically turns its output down as it warms up, so it keeps running under heavy load instead of cutting out.

Best for

  • Water under floating floors and screeds
  • Wet insulation in walls and floor voids
  • Drying without lifting floors
  • Used with the Corroventa A2 and C16 or C25 hose kits

Questions about the Corroventa T2 Turbine

Do I need anything else with the turbine?+

Yes. It works with a hose system (C16 or C25), and for pressure drying it is paired with the Corroventa A2 dehumidifier to supply dry air.

Will you need to drill holes?+

Yes, small holes are drilled into the floor or wall so the hoses can reach the wet area. They are small and can be filled afterwards.

What is the difference between suction and pressure drying?+

Suction drying pulls water and damp air out of the construction. Pressure drying pushes warm, dry air in. Suction is always done first.

Is it noisy?+

It runs at around 48 dB(A) at full power, which is quiet for a turbine.

Do you deliver and collect?+

Yes. We deliver and collect across Wiltshire, Swindon, Bath, Bristol, Somerset and north Dorset, within roughly an hour of Trowbridge. We can set the machine up for you, or drop it off with instructions.

How long can I hire it for?+

By the day or by the week. Weekly hire works out cheaper, and most drying jobs need at least a week. Call us and we will advise how long your job is likely to take.

How much does it cost to hire?+

Call 07971 435221 or send an enquiry and we will give you a price for your dates, including delivery.

Is the machine checked before it goes out?+

Yes. Every machine is checked before each hire.

What if it stops working during the hire?+

Switch it off at the wall and call us. We will talk you through it or swap the machine.

Can you do the drying for me instead?+

Yes. We offer a full structural drying service with moisture readings and a drying report for your insurer. Structural and building drying

Safety information

  • Read the operating instructions supplied with the machine before switching on. If anything is unclear, call us first.
  • Keep the machine upright. If it has been laid on its side during transport, stand it upright for at least 30 minutes before switching on.
  • Plug directly into a suitable, undamaged socket. Do not use damaged leads, and if an extension lead is unavoidable, use a correctly rated one that is fully unwound.
  • Use an RCD-protected supply where possible.
  • Stand the machine on a firm, level surface, away from standing water.
  • Keep the air inlet and outlet clear. Never cover the machine or place anything on top of it while it is running.
  • Route power cables and drain hoses so they are not a trip hazard, and check the hose is not kinked or crushed.
  • Keep children and pets away from the machine.
  • Switch off and unplug before moving, emptying or checking the machine.
  • Indoor use only. Do not use the machine outdoors or expose it to rain.
  • If the machine makes an unusual noise, smells of burning, or stops working, switch it off at the wall and call us on 07971 435221. Do not open the casing or attempt repairs.
  • Where electrics may have been affected by flood water, do not use any sockets until they have been checked by a qualified electrician.

Specific to this unit

  • Pressure and suction drying involves drilling small holes into floors or walls. Always check for hidden pipes and cables first. We recommend this equipment is installed by us.
  • Carry out suction drying before pressure drying, to avoid forcing water further into the structure.
  • During suction drying, water can be drawn out. A water separator must be used to protect the turbine.
  • The air it delivers is warm and dry. Remove or cover wooden furniture and heat-sensitive items in the room.
  • Keep the air inlet filter clean and in place.
